Studio Culture & Respect

Panama Sound is open to artists of all backgrounds and identities.

We don’t work on projects rooted in harassment or messaging meant to harm others.

If a session becomes disruptive or unsafe, it ends. Read Why We Don’t Record Weaponized Messaging for more info.

Sessions & Booking

Sessions are booked by the hour, run continuously, and aren’t split across multiple days. Bookings start with a brief intro call, and a deposit may be required up front.

Load-In & Timing

Each session includes a complimentary 30-minute load-in window. Billable time starts at the scheduled start or when recording begins, whichever comes first, and sessions end on schedule.

Arriving late doesn’t extend the session.

Cancellations & Rescheduling

Cancel or reschedule more than 48 hours out and your deposit carries to a new date. Inside 48 hours, the deposit is forfeited.

Technical Issues

If something technical interrupts a session, the clock stops — you’re never charged for troubleshooting. If a session can’t continue, we reschedule and your deposit is fully protected.

During the Session

Bring up to five guests. Short breaks happen as needed. Respectful, professional behavior is expected:

Disruptive conduct ends the session without refund.

Deliverables

You’ll leave with a polished stereo mix. Additional exports or mastering can be arranged separately. Your recordings stay private and are never shared without permission.

Equipment & Personal Items

All necessary equipment is provided. Personal instruments are welcome — just ask before adjusting studio gear. Food and drinks are fine; treat the space like someone’s home, because it is.

Health & Safety

Reschedule if you’re sick. No smoking or vaping indoors; responsible alcohol use is fine, hard drugs are not.

Pets and children aren’t permitted.
