WHAT TO EXPECT
A session here is built to move forward calmly — the goal is to protect momentum so you can focus on the performance, not the process. You don’t need a perfect plan, just familiarity with your material and the willingness to commit once something feels right.
Sessions unfold naturally: settling in, capturing performances, then listening back and shaping the result together. No clock-watching, no pressure to be perfect. You’ll be guided when a decision matters and left alone when momentum is strong.
Because sessions are billed hourly, the length scales to what you actually need. A session near the 4-hour minimum suits artists with a clear, focused goal. A longer session leaves room for exploration and layering while still moving forward. Either way, the goal is a result that feels complete, not rushed.
Being prepared just means knowing your songs well enough to play them without hesitation, trusting your instincts, and being ready to commit once something clicks. Bring lyrics, demos, or references if you have them — they’re not required. In the days before, focus on getting familiar with the songs rather than fixing them, rest up, eat something light, and show up on time.
Your job is to arrive ready and stay connected to the performance. Ours is to handle the technical side quietly and step in with guidance only when it helps. The space stays low-pressure and unhurried, and you’ll leave with a result that reflects what you actually brought into the room.
